When an NI-DAQ device is selected in Motive, its device information gets listed under the Properties pane. Just basic information on the used device will be shown in the Properties pane. For configuring properties of the device, use the Devices pane.

General Settings[edit]


Name[edit]

Name of the selected device.

Active[edit]

Only active NI-DAQ devics will be actively measuring analog signals.

Details[edit]


Serial[edit]

Device serial number of the selected NI-DAQ assigned by the manufacturer.

Model[edit]

Device model ID, if available.

ChannelCount[edit]

Total number of available channels on the selected NI-DAQ device.

AcquisitionRate[edit]

Sampling rate of the device

RateMultiple[edit]

Device rate as multiple of camera rate.

UseExternalClock[edit]

[Advanced] Indicates whether this device is synchronized to an external clock signal from another system.

SynchMode[edit]

[Advanced] Sync mode used when recording.

ExternalClockTerminal[edit]

[Advanced] Digital input terminal number where it is connected to an output port of the eSync for receiving an external clock signal.

ExternalTriggerTerminal[edit]

[Advanced] The input terminal of NI-DAQ for receiving an external trigger signal.
