When a force plate is selected in Motive, its device information gets listed under the Properties pane. For configuring force plate properties, use the Devices pane and modify the corresponding device properties.

General Settings[edit]


Name[edit]

Name of the selected force plate.

Active[edit]

Only active force plates will be shown and measured in Motive.

Scale[edit]

Size scale of the resultant force vector shown in the 3D viewport.

UseWorldOrigin[edit]

[Advanced] When enabled, the global coordinate system is used for referencing the force plate corners.

Serial[edit]

Serial number of the selected force plate.

Model[edit]

Device model ID. This will be displayed only if it is available.

ChannelCount[edit]

Number of active channels available in the selected device. For force plates, this defaults to 6 with channels responsible for

AcquisitionRate[edit]

Sampling rate of the device

RateMultiple[edit]

Device rate as multiple of camera rate. When synchronizing via triggered sync, device sampling rate must be a whole multiple of the camera frame rate.

Corners[edit]

Lists out positions of the four force plate corners. Positions are measured with respect to the global coordinate system, and this is calibrated when you Set Position using the CS-400 calibration square.

ElectricalOriginOffset[edit]

Manufacturer defined electrical-to-mechanical offset values.

Width[edit]

Width of the force plate.

Length[edit]

Length of the force plate.
